Who do you teach?

I teach players of all ages 4 and up — kids, teens, adults, and seniors. Whether you are picking up a racquet for the first time, coming back to the game after years away, or looking to sharpen a competitive edge, every lesson is built around your goals and pace.

How old does my child need to be to take a lesson?

I generally work with kids ages 4 and up. If you have a younger child who is eager to try tennis, feel free to email or text me and I will see if we can make it work.

Do you teach adults and seniors?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. A big part of what I do is helping adults and seniors either learn the game from scratch or get back into it after a long break. Lessons are paced to your comfort and fitness level, and we focus on the fundamentals, consistency, and enjoying being out on the court.

I haven't played in years — is that okay?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many of my adult and senior students haven't picked up a racquet in a while. We start with the basics, work at a comfortable pace, and build back your strokes, footwork, and confidence one lesson at a time.

How do lessons work for younger children?

Accepted Answer

Lessons for young kids focus on engagement and fun while building a foundation in tennis. We mix teaching fundamentals with games and activities, with plenty of breaks. The goal is to give them a great experience and make them want to keep playing.

How do I pay for a lesson?

Accepted Answer

I accept cash and Venmo only. Because lessons must be paid in advance, all pre-booked lessons are paid via Venmo before the session. After you submit a booking request I'll confirm the lesson and share my Venmo handle. Text me at 508-630-4977 anytime if you need the handle sooner.

Do I need to sign anything before my first lesson?

Yes — every participant must sign a physical injury waiver in person before their first lesson. That applies to every age group, including adults and seniors, not just minors. For any participant under 18, a parent, guardian, or caregiver must also sign on their behalf. I'll have the waiver ready at your first session and it only needs to be signed once per person.

Is there a promotion or discount right now?

Accepted Answer

Yes — as part of Daniel's Tennis's grand opening, every lesson booked on or before July 31, 2026 is 20% off the standard rate. The discount is applied automatically at checkout and works on both private and semi-private lessons at any length.

Question 9

How do I cancel or reschedule a lesson?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the lesson start time to be eligible for a refund or credit. Just contact me directly and I'll handle it. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable except for genuine illness, injury, or emergency.

How do I re-book after a cancellation?

Accepted Answer

You can re-book anytime through the website, or simply contact me with your preferred day and time and I will get you back on the schedule.

Question 11

What happens if I arrive late?

If you arrive late, the lesson end time may stay the same, resulting in a slightly shorter session. If there is availability after the scheduled end time, I may be able to extend the lesson. If you arrive more than 15 minutes past the start time without notice, the lesson may need to be cancelled with no refund.

How far in advance can I book a lesson?

Please book at least 48 hours in advance. You can schedule up to two weeks ahead. If you need a lesson outside of that window, send me a text at 508-630-4977 and I will do my best to find an opening.

Can I set up a recurring lesson?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you would like a weekly recurring lesson — whether once, twice, or more — just let me know and I will set it up for you. You will not need to book each session yourself, but payment is required before each lesson.

What if all courts are being used at the time of the lesson?

Accepted Answer

In the unlikely event that courts are unavailable, we can either reschedule the lesson or wait briefly to see if a court opens up. I will always communicate with you as soon as possible if this situation arises.

What if bad weather interrupts the lesson?

If weather or another unexpected issue prevents the lesson from continuing, we can either cancel with a full refund or reschedule to a time that works better for you.
