Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These terms apply to all tennis lessons booked with Daniel Anjoorian. By booking a lesson, you agree to the policies below.

01. Booking & Confirmation

Lessons are confirmed only after a booking request is submitted through this website and Daniel responds with a written confirmation of the date, time, and location. A lesson is not considered scheduled until that confirmation is received.

02. Payment — Cash or Venmo Only

Daniel's Tennis accepts cash and Venmo only. Because lessons must be paid in advance, all pre-booked lessons are paid via Venmo before the session. After you submit a booking request, Daniel will confirm the lesson and share his Venmo handle. Payment is required to secure the spot. Credit cards, checks, and other payment methods are not accepted.

03. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations or reschedule requests must be made at least forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled lesson start time to be eligible for a refund or credit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the lesson are non-refundable except in cases of genuine illness, injury, or emergency, at Daniel's sole discretion.

04. Refunds

Eligible refunds are returned via Venmo within twenty-four (24) hours. If a lesson is cancelled due to inclement weather, unsafe court conditions, court unavailability, or any other reason on Daniel's end, you may choose either a full refund or a credit toward a future lesson.

05. In-Person Injury Waiver — Every Participant

Every participant must sign a physical injury waiver in person before their first lesson. This applies to every age group — kids, teens, adults, and seniors alike. For any participant under 18, a parent, legal guardian, or caregiver must also sign the waiver on the minor's behalf, in addition to the minor's own signature where applicable. The waiver will be provided in person at the first session and is a one-time requirement per participant.

06. Grand Opening Promotion

As part of Daniel's Tennis's grand opening, every lesson booked on or before July 31, 2026 receives 20% off the standard rate. The discount is applied automatically to the total at booking, applies to both private and semi-private lessons of any length, and cannot be combined with other future promotions. After July 31, 2026, standard rates apply to all new bookings.

07. Late Arrivals

Lessons are scheduled back-to-back. If a student arrives late, the lesson may still end at the originally scheduled end time. If Daniel's schedule allows, the lesson may be extended at his sole discretion. Arriving more than fifteen (15) minutes past the scheduled start time without prior notice will result in cancellation of the lesson with no refund.

08. Court Availability

In the unlikely event that a court becomes unavailable on the day of the lesson, every reasonable effort will be made to alert you ahead of your scheduled start time. The lesson may then be rescheduled to a mutually agreed-upon date and time, or cancelled and refunded in full.

09. Semi-Private & Group Lessons

For semi-private lessons, the lesson fee covers two (2) players. The lesson will run as scheduled even if only one player attends, and the full fee still applies. Substitutions of the second player are allowed with advance notice.

10. Lessons for All Ages

Lessons are open to players ages 4 and up, including kids, teens, adults, and seniors. Adult and senior students are responsible for assessing their own fitness for physical activity and are encouraged to consult a physician before starting lessons if they have any relevant medical conditions. Lessons will be paced to the student's comfort, ability, and stated goals.

11. Lessons with Minors

A parent or guardian must complete the initial booking and sign the injury waiver for any student under eighteen (18). Parents are welcome to remain courtside but are asked not to coach during the lesson so the student can focus.

12. Conduct & Safety

Students are expected to wear appropriate athletic clothing and non-marking court shoes and to bring their own racquet and water. Daniel reserves the right to pause or end a lesson without refund if a student's behavior is unsafe, disrespectful, or destructive to courts or equipment.

13. Liability

Participation in tennis lessons is voluntary and at the student's own risk. By booking a lesson and signing the injury waiver, the student (and the parent or guardian, if the student is a minor) agrees to release Daniel Anjoorian and Daniel's Tennis from liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence.

14. Photos & Media

Occasionally, Daniel may take photos or short videos during a lesson for instructional review or social media. Please let Daniel know in advance if you do not want yourself or your child included in any photos or videos.

15. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. Continued booking of lessons after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
